ROMA INCLUSION ADVOCACY PROJECT

 

“Roma Inclusion Advocacy Project” is implemented by the Center for Peace, Legal Advice and Psychosocial Assistance – Vukovar, Institute STINA from Split and the Association of Roma Friendship “LUNA” from Beli Manastir.

Roma Inclusion Advocacy Project is co-financed by the European Union through its grant program scheme Supporting CSOs Advocacy and Motivation Programmes for Socially Excluded Groups, within IPA IV Component - Human Resources Development. ". The contracting authority is the National Foundation for Civil Society Development, Intermediate Body Level 2 - EU Programmes Department.

The focus of the project is Roma as one of the most excluded and most-discriminated social groups in Croatia. The project will run for 18 months and is being implemented in five counties: Osijek-Baranja, Brod-Posavina, Sisak-Moslavina, Koprivnica-Krizevci and Medjimurje County. The total value of the project is 97.904,42 EUR, out of which 85% is being co-financed from IPA Programmes.

The project consists of three basic components: (1) Development of Roma civil society organizations and Roma community representatives capacities for monitoring and advocacy; (2) Monitoring and advocacy activities focused on the implementation of measures for inclusion of Roma; and (3) Visibility of topics and issues related to the inclusion of Roma in Croatia.
